75. As tears go by (The Rolling Stones)

«As Tears Go By» is a song written by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and The Rolling Stones’ manager Andrew Loog Oldham for British singer Marianne Faithfull. It was released as a single on June 26, 1964. It peaked at number 9 in the UK. The song was included on both the UK and US versions of the Marianne Faithfull album.

The Rolling Stones recorded their own version in 1965. It appeared on the album December’s Children (And Everybody’s) and as a single in North America, while in the UK it was released as the B-side of «19th Nervous Breakdown».
